چکیده مقاله:
Helium is a noble gas that due to its unique properties widely used in various industries. The main sources of helium is natural gas and air. There are several methods for production of helium such as:cryogenic, pressure swing absorption (PAS), membrane. Membrane and PSA processes usually areused to helium extraction from a high concentration stream. Cryogenic process is common process for helium extraction from natural gas. This method can be divided into three categories: Flashing based processes, distillation based processes and integration of flashing and distillation. Flash-based is the most common cryogenic process. This method have higher extraction potential towards the other cryogenic methods however energy cosumption of it is high.
