چکیده:
Cognitive radio is special concept that uses the spectrum effectively by shifting the frequency bands in wireless communications. The microstrip antenna is accordance with an UWB design and has a reconfigurability. This paper provides a detailed discussion of the existing UWB spectrum sensing reconfigurable microstrip antenna designs for cognitive radio applications. For this purpose, an UWB antenna covering the spectrum from 3.1-11 GHz for channel sensing and the reconfigurable characteristic is achieved by means of two ideal switches. When both switches are in the ON state, the range of 3.3-4.2GHz is notched and when the S1 is in the ON state, the ranges of 5.4-5.8GHz and 3.7-4.4GHz are notched.
