چکیده:
Methanol is an attractive fuel for fuel cells due to its low price and easy handing, storage and transport [1]. But its slow electrooxidation rate is one of the major problems. It has been shown that one promising approach for minimizing over voltage effects is through the use of an electrocatalytic process at chemically modified electrodes [2]. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs), as a novel form of carbon, have recently come to forefront of chemical research due to their interesting electronic, chemical and mechanical properties [3]. It was found that they have many attractive properties such as promoting the electron transfer rate and electrocatalytic activity. So, new attempts have been made to design and synthesis conducting polymer/carbon nanotube-composite material for various power applications and dispersing metal particle into conducting polymer support could promote catalyst recovery [4].For example, composite made from SWCNTs and polyaniline (PANI) was synthesized through chemical routes used as printable conductors for organic electronic devices [5]. Methanol electrooxidation was also discussed on Pt particles dispersed in to PANI/SWNT composite film [6].Now, we demonstrate the usefulness of the glassy carbon electrode coated with MWCNTs as a new electrode substrate for the electropolymerization of poly ortho-anisidine (POA) for fabrication of composite film containing dispersed Ni particles
